I know this is kinda late but you can increase the side mirror rendering distance by increasing uset r_mirror_view_distance in config.cfg in your ETS2 My Documents folder. It always bugged me when bridges or entire mountains just vanished. Shame you can't do the same for forward terrain

The UK map is taken straight from UKTS, just with added connections to the continent. SCS will get to it in time or if you want improvements on it now, download ProMods. I am using promods and London, in the latest incarnation, is amazing. Just drove past St Pancras and its stunning.
