Wolverine Airsoft tried barrel with different diameters and found out that there wasn't really all that much difference. Length and quality are the important factors. You want to match the length with the cylinder volume and BB weight. For 0,40 bbs you should use about 470mm barrel in VSR. For 0,36g 500mm iirc.
The reason I mentioned the specs of this mb08 version, is because I've read reviews about the normal version having crappy/total junk internals, which bothers me since I don't plan on upgrading right on, as I said. Hence the JG Bar 10 alternative.
