Fiat 500 doesn't. Also the manufacturers are to blame, they simply say service car every x miles and don't worry about the rest. To Fiat's credit, they recommend checking oil level and coolant every 3,000 km's and before long journeys. I do what you do, I check my oil every time I fill the tank and always keep 1LT of oil in the boot.

The 500 is the first and only car I've ever heard of where they warn you to check the engine-oil level about 5 minutes after shutting off the engine, and no longer than that. Checking the oil any longer than that after shutting down, the manual says, will yield an inaccurate dipstick reading.

Hi We have just bought a 2013 500 POP 1.2 with Dualogic automatic. It sounds a bit whiny and I want to check the oil level and possibly put some additive in it. Hard to see where the fill plug is located. No leaks showing but worth checking after all these years and 75000KMs.

Level sounds fine for a cold level. More important is to remember that its just above the lower limit so when you check it next week, if its moved you will be aware of a an issue before it becomes a problem. Paraflu is Fiat's brand name for long life coolant (the pinky/orange one) You can use any long life coolant to top up if neccessary. Cheers.
